If your machine is having issues getting into high range gears, one test that can help you isolate the issue is a pressure test. That will give you a good idea if it is a drive motor or. Does it light up or not? IF so then the computer knows you selected it and something is not engaging it. If not then its something electrical before the hydraulics. What style switch does JD use? Rocker or momentary push button?

This seems to have solved the hydraulic issue, but now my 2 speed travel option doesn't work, I think it's in high speed. I get nothing when I press the snail or turtle/rabbit on the left joystick. The mechanic claims they didn't do anything to the left joystick at all. I am currently working on a 319E skid steer. I was able to fix the issue with the right joystick grip. Now, the problem that I am having now is no 2 speed. Bobcat A300 2-speed intermittently stops working. When I was troubleshooting it, it worked fine on the LH joystick (replaced 2 years ago), but not on the RH joystick. It will also blow a hose when the loader arms are down and you have to life the arms up with another loader to fix it. We had to pull one of the drive motors @ approx 2000 hours. Had it repaired and now the 2 speed on that motor does not work. 1) Engine Problems. If your 320’s engine is acting up, check these common 320 skid steer problems first. The fuel filter could be clogged. Replace it every 200 hours. A dirty filter reduces power and performance. The air filter may need changing too. Swap it out every 150 hours or if the “check air filter” light comes on.
