Thinking about getting a JCB skidsteer and was wondering about what Agtalk . I think most anything you buy would be a nice skid steer anymore. If you have a dealer close or like a particular brand that's reason enough. For me my next one will be a JCB or a Volvo just for the safety factor.

Every major ag equipment dealership seems to sell their brand of skid steers now and farmers buy from them for service and convenience. Everyone is impressed with the side door entry on my JCB but the dealership is 90 miles away and you would pass probably 10 Case, JD, Kubota and Bobcat dealers along the way to get there. Thinking about getting a JCB skidsteer and was wondering about what Agtalk thought about them. I really want the side door because I work by myself most of the time and getting in and out is easier and my age is also a consideration.
I purchase a low hour JCB 320T track machine a couple of months ago. Really like the machine and the side door. A little concerned about the the lack of dealers in my area but I hope the machine is reliable and causes very few problems. If I were buying a skid steer as a general contractor and sending it out to job sites everyday for employees to push gravel around all day, I would probably pick a more mainstream brand. But for working alone on the farm handling chemical totes, . I have a 225 echo JCB plain skid loader, no cab. I had a leaky fitting under the cab floor from the joystick to the forward valve. It just uses plastic push-connect fittings. I assume this is low-pressure hyd. oil -pilot control- that operates the valves for all motions.
