Lately I have been looking at Mini Skid steers to be bridge some gaps that I have between my Kubota BX25 tractor and Excavator. I have never operated one, and would like to hear from those that have to see if they are work pursing. I like the idea of a mini-skid, so I can get through fence gates etc, but don't know if they have enough hyd flow left over to do the job. I like the lighter weight for a smaller trailer too. Also, how long does it take to switch attachments back to the bucket to remove the grindings? trying to decide if the vermeer s600tx is the mini loader for me, and wanted to get some experienced opinions . the machine is a 2005 with 780 hrs on a kubota 25hp diesel. it has multiple owners which is kind of a red flag for me but the . It works awesome for that! About 700 hrs on it with pretty much zero trouble, a track will come off on steep/loose sidehills sometimes. Also use it for rock/dirt sometimes where the skid steer can't fit and yes it is kinda slow not being able to dump/load/move much at the same time, but its still A LOT better then a shovel and wheelbarrow! As mentioned, Agrotk sub-2T mini-excavators are showing up all over the US, at auctions. I see both the B&S gasoline units, and the 3-cyl EPA diesels. Shipped out of Chicago; HQ in TX. I don't know if they have ironed out some of the bugs that you see in other Chinese units that use the same design for many of the components. The mini excavator will outdo a comparable size tractor mounted backhoe. It however is a lot slower moving it about. There are many video reviews of them you can watch and several dedicated Threads discussing here at the Forum if you go to the excavator area. I have a boxer 320 now and I like it but looking to get a newer machine. The ctx states that it is able to lift 600 lbs which is almost 2oo lbs more than the boxer. I cant find any reviews, pros and cons on this machine. The next Vermeer up on the mini skid list can only lift 500 lb (and ,000 more) so I'm not sure if the specs are accurate.
