So I am trying to check the parking brake solenoid, but apparently I'm not smart enough to figure out which one it is. Anyone got any indication where the brake solenoid is on a 280. It looks like on the 240-250s it is inside the hydaulic filter housing, but the 280 is different. Probably looking right at it and too stupid to see it. Our 250 has a rocker switch right next to the key. Has to be in Park to start, won't move until you have your seatbelt buckled and then disengage the park brake with the switch.
