I had finally found a blown ignition fuse burried in the cab wall. Today I followed your suggestions from Godfroy Brothers and I had dash lights and my Sid Steer fired right up. My 250 keeps blowing the ignition fuse. You put a new fuse in, the machine starts up and will run 5-15 seconds and then it blows the fuse. I don't even know where to start. I have a 250 skid steer that blows the 15 amp starter fuse every time the key is turned on. It just went through a tornado which ripped out the headliner. Our skid steer will not start. Has no power in the on or start mode. We checked all the fuses put a new battery in and still will not start. Any help as to where to look to get this thing to start. After digging a while I found out it was a solonoid in the hydraulic block for the foot pedals. It acts as a lock for the pedals so they can't move when the park brake is engaged. One of them was drawing enough current to blow the fuse. These are pretty easy fixes but a real pain. You can hit the windshield even with a seat belt on!!
